WHAT WE DO

OUR STRATEGY

H&K Business Associates Limited we view Business Strategic planning to be of the utmost importance for any business to have. A business is certainly doomed to fail in the absence of a correctly produced business strategy. Growing a business means taking many decisions about how to expand business operations. Creating a business strategic plan is a key component of planning for growth. It helps prepare a realistic vision for the future of your business and in doing so can maximize your potential for growth.

A strategic plan should not be confused with a business plan. A business plan is about setting short or mid-term goals and defining the steps necessary to achieve them. A strategic plan is typically focused on mid to long-term goals and explains the basic strategies for achieving them. A strategic plan defines the purpose for a business, identifies the critical issues, establishes the vision, sets the objectives and most importantly, creates the strategy to realise the agreed vision. A robust plan is necessary to understand the current position of the business and the possible avenues through which it can pursue a particular course of action.

H&K Business Associates Limited has expertise in helping develop a strategic plan for a student , a strategic  business plan for our clients (other student consultancy firms who purchased the “The student consultancy business in a box”))these are  both realistic and achievable. A review of client or their businesses to determine the direction the business should take will be done before creating the business strategy plan for the client. Mr. Habib is aware that often consultancy firms create strategies and plans that do not suit the style of the owners of directors of the company they are trying to help. In the long run this discrepancy shines through and not only causes a rift between the consultancies but also leads to a substantial loss for both businesses. The consultants acknowledge this problem and will ensure that any strategic plans that they work on will ensure that all its stakeholders in the clients company are catered for. This will include the owners, investors, management, staff, contractors and customers of the client business.
During the creation of business strategy, the following will be considered:
 • Where is the business now? This involves understanding as much about the business as possible, including how it operates internally, what drives its profitability, and how it compares with competitors. There is also the need to compare the operations and the results of the business with competitors to analyze and understand if the business is performing as well as it should. If not, then the weaknesses need to be identified.
 • Where does it need to be? What are the high-level objectives and milestones of a client business? The vision, mission, objectives, values, techniques and goals. Where is the business headed in five or ten years? More importantly, once which is identified, this information will be used to create strategies to improve and achieve the goals.
H&K Business Associates Limited is an expert in several tools and methodologies that will be used to help develop and create these strategies. These are SWOT Analysis, Balanced Scorecard, Scenario planning, PEST Analysis, STEER Analysis, EPISTLE Analysis, ATM Approach etc. The consultants have extensive knowledge in using these tools and can be considered as an expert.
 • SWOT: A swot analysis identifies the internal and external factors that are favourable and unfavourable to achieving a business goal. It covers analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
• PESTLE: It breaks the business environment into Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal and Environmental aspects of the business.
• Five forces model: This model aims to helps businesses how competitive the market is and looks at the attributes of competitors and the customers.
